Provided Materials: Workshop rooms include Oliso irons, limited June Tailor iron and cutting boards, Havel’s Sewing rotary cutters, Janome sewing machines and/or Handi Quilter long-arm machines (except in handwork, silkscreen and dye rooms).
Bring a Basic Sewing Kit: Students should bring a basic sewing kit to each class that includes a quilting ruler, scissors, pins and thread. If you would like your own cutting space, we recommend bringing an 18” x 24” cutting mat, but it is not required in most workshops.

Location and Check-in: The majority of workshops are held at the Austin Convention Center at 500 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas 78701. Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your workshop to check-in at the Registration desk located on the Palazzo.
- Full-day workshops are six hours in length and will last from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. with a two hour lunch/lecture break from 12 p.m.-2 p.m.
- Half-day workshops are three hours in length. Morning workshops last from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., and afternoon workshops are from 2p.m.-5 p.m.
